What is a shooting range inspector?

A shooting range inspector (SRI) is trained and recognised by Te Tari Pūreke as competent to prepare the range inspection report required as part of an application for a range to be certified.

Report forms

SRIs must use the following forms after completing a range inspection. 

To use the forms: 

  1. Save the forms to your device.
  2. Close the web browser.
  3. Find your saved file.
  4. Open with Adobe Reader DC or Pro (or similar PDF editor).
  5. Complete the form.

Use the following forms to add supplementary information to the report. 

After inspection

If there are any issues, address them with the shooting range operator (SRO). 

When the report is finalised, give it to the SRO to include in their application for certification
