Anybody wanting to surrender their firearms to Police is welcome to do so.

Due to the current environment, we ask that people please contact their local arms officer before bringing the firearm in to Police, to enable our staff to be aware of your arrival ahead of time. The local arms officer can also provide advice on the safe transport of the firearm to Police.

An online reporting form is also being developed that will enable quicker processing for the surrender of firearms.
